Chris headed out into the Strait this morning in search of blackmouth and got a closeup of the sediment plume coming out of the Elwha.  Usually the dirty side of the rip is used to describe the side of the tide rip filled with loose seaweed and debris, not silt pouring out of the Elwha.

The fishing was slow with only one shaker (undersized) blackmouth landed on a Calamarko tube fly pattern.
