This three class course class will require some basic tying knowledge. If you can tie a decent wooly bugger you will be alright. The course will cover many concepts of steelhead flies including trailer hooks and shanks, marabou flies, string leeches, and intruders. All materials will be provided but students will be responsible for their tools and equipment.

The purpose of this course is to cover a variety of tying techniques providing a foundation to help tie whatever your heart desires. With a focus on effective swinging flies for the OP, you'll walk away with your own tried and true flies.
